What is a Hypnosis Session Like?
For your first session it is best to figure on 75 to 90 minutes as we will going over a lot of preliminary information. Thereafter, most sessions will be 45 to 50 minutes. Rev. Ann will ask few questions and gather information regarding your issue. Next, you will relax in a comfortable reclining chair as you are verbally guided into a very peaceful, calm state of being. You may feel like you are drifting and dreaming, as your thinking mind quiets and your subconscious mind becomes focused and alert. The subconscious mind is then ready to receive the positive suggestions we discussed before we began the session. You are then brought back up to a fully awake and aware consciousness; very relaxed, and feeling great. Many people are amazed by the experience. Comments received after a session range from it was so peaceful and relaxing, to I feel like I just had a message I’m so relaxed. Twenty minutes in hypnosis can be like a an hour nap.

What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a safe, naturally occurring, relaxed state of mind and body, that creates a heightened state of focused awareness. While in hypnosis, you allow your conscious mind to quiet while your subconscious mind listens and accepts positive suggestions that permanently change your habits, emotions, and thought patterns at the very deepest level.

Can I be Hypnotized?
Yes. If you can imagine, you can be hypnotized. In fact, we enter into hypnotic states every day, unaware. Daydreaming, listening to music, watching television, and driving, are all activities that can put you into a mild hypnotic state. The most important factor in becoming hypnotized, is your willingness and desire to be hypnotized.

Is Hypnosis Safe?
Yes. Hypnosis is completely safe. The use of hypnosis has been around for over 200 years. The American Medical Association sanctioned hypnosis in 1958 and it is currently one of the fastest growing fields in human potential, healing, and achievement. You will never do anything against your will or get “stuck” in hypnosis. You are always in control and can come out of hypnosis at any time. Your Consulting Hypnotist is highly trained and skilled at making your experience safe, comfortable, and effective.
